Domestic beers are any beers that are brewed in the U.S., made by a high-volume American brewer (think Budweiser, Coors, Miller). Craft breweries are independently owned, and often provide unique tastes (Samuel Adams, Dogfish Head, Burley Oak). Lastly, import beers are simply any beer that is not created in the U.S. (Corona, Heineken, Stella Artois).
